The most important occasion in a Slavic home is the bride meeting, which is typically celebrated in spring, summer or fall. It was a time for celebration and satisfaction, as it marked the beginning of the new existence. Warriors married after successful activities, sailors held their weddings after a good catch and shepherds tied the knot after the calf time.
